Our Diazo Ylide reagent enables the first general synthesis of polyfunctionalized spiropentanes, two fused cyclopropane rings sharing one carbon, creating ~90° twist and unique C–C distances of 270–280 pm that flat molecules cannot reproduce.

The Lovering Effect (Pfizer, J. Med. Chem. 2009) proves that higher Fsp³ directly correlates with clinical success. 90% of today's pharma libraries are flat and sp²-dominated. Our scaffolds occupy the untapped 10%, building blocks that are unmatched by any competitor worldwide: non-metal intermediates, fast routes, high flexibility, fully eco-friendly synthesis.
