BusinessInternship

Business Intelligence Intern

Basel, Switzerland3–6 months · Part-time or full-time

Help us build the commercial layer of a deep-tech startup at the intersection of chemistry and pharma. You will work directly with the CEO to map the global drug discovery market, identify and qualify potential pharma partners, and structure the intelligence that informs our business development decisions.

What you'll do

  • Research pharmaceutical companies, biotech funds, and CROs actively building 3D fragment libraries or sp³-rich screening sets
  • Track competitor platforms, academic spin-outs, and licensing deals in the medicinal chemistry space
  • Build and maintain a structured CRM pipeline of prioritised business development targets
  • Prepare pitch decks, one-pagers, and market landscape reports for partner meetings
  • Synthesise signals from scientific publications, conference proceedings, and industry news into actionable BI summaries

What we're looking for

  • Currently studying Business, Life Sciences, Pharma Management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical mindset, you enjoy turning scattered data into a clear picture
  • Comfortable navigating PubMed, patent databases, CrunchBase, and LinkedIn for research
  • Excellent written English, you write clearly and get to the point
  • Interest in drug discovery, biotech, or deep-tech startups is a genuine plus
TechnologyInternship

Developer Intern

Remote · Basel preferred3–6 months · Part-time or full-time

Work on the digital infrastructure of a science-first startup, from the public-facing website to internal tools that help us track compounds, partners, and publications. You will have real ownership of features, ship code that goes live, and learn how a technical founder thinks about product.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain the DAOdiscovery website (SolidJS / SolidStart), new pages, UI polish, performance improvements
  • Build lightweight internal tools: dashboards, compound trackers, partner CRM views
  • Integrate external data sources, publication APIs, patent feeds, or partner databases
  • Participate in design discussions and help shape the visual and UX direction of the platform
  • Write clean, readable code and contribute to a maintainable codebase from day one

What we're looking for

  • Currently studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid JavaScript fundamentals; experience with a modern framework (React, Vue, Svelte, SolidJS is a bonus)
  • Comfortable with CSS and building responsive, polished UIs from scratch
  • Familiar with Git and basic CI/deployment workflows
  • Self-directed, you can take a vague requirement, ask the right questions, and ship something
